Anzac Day is our national day of commemoration.
On Saturday 25 April 2026, the Australian War Memorial will mark the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings and commemorate all Australians who have served in times of peace and war.
ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Flowers have traditionally been laid on graves and memorials in memory of the dead. Rosemary, symbolising remembrance, is popular on Anzac Day.
